Environmental auditing
Pre-purchase environmental audits are performed to assess the environmental risks and liabilities for a prospective purchaser of an enterprise, land or other property resulting from: (a) contamination of groundwater, soil or building material and/or (b) non-compliance with environmental legislation either in force or under preparation. Environmental audits for loan requests whose objective is to prepare an independent evaluation of the environmental risk that could jeopardize the ability of the cline to pay back the loan. Due diligence and occupational health and safety audits describe the liabilities resulting from non-compliance with the requirements of occupational health and safety legislation.
