Laboratory profile

Our laboratory is one of the leading environmental analytical laboratories in the Czech Republic and provides classic inorganic and organic analysis as well as special bacteriology and radiological analysis. The established methods correspond not only to Czech CSN and TNV standards but also to international standards – EN, ISO, DIN, EPA and others.

The laboratory has the required technical potential and instrumentation for timely and quality processing of samples. The laboratory has developed their own LABSYSTEM database for the processing, archiving and preparing documentation on the results of analyses.

The laboratory has implemented a quality management system since 1996 which was evaluated by the center for the Centre for Assessment of Laboratories (ASLAB). Since 2000 the laboratory is the holder of Certification of Accreditation issued by the Czech Accreditation Institute (CIA). In 2004 the laboratory obtained Certification of Authorization issued by the State Health Institute.

The laboratory provides non-stop emergency services for Prague City Hall, which include rapid response and sample collection with subsequent specification of materials and their identification during environmental accidents.
