Remediation of contaminated land

Remediation of groundwater, soil and construction material is probably the most important activity of our company. We have all of the technological and material resources at our disposal necessary for the comprehensive performance of remedial projects, from design, performance (installation and operation of remedial technology), to evaluation and supervision. Remediation is focused on the removal of a wide range of contaminants – chlorinated hydrocarbons, oil hydrocarbon s and other organic compounds, heavy metals, cyanides, etc. Remediation of groundwater is usually performed based on the character of the contamination and the local hydrogeological conditions using one or more of the following four basic approaches: monitoring natural or supported attenuation, pump and treat, in-situ degradation (biological, chemical, physical– nano-particles), isolation of contamination (mechanical, hydraulic, chemical). These methods are often modified or used in combination (e.g. bioventing, bioslurping or air-sparging).
The following methods are used for remediation of soil contamination: excavation, venting of the unsaturated zone, biodegradation of contaminated soil, steam enhanced extraction, soil washing, isolation and immobilization of contamination. We have developed our own approved biological degradation technology for oil and polyaromatic hydrocarbons and we own all of the necessary technical and other capacity for the performance of this in-situ process of groundwater decontamination.
