Technology for waste recycling
Recycling of LCD and plasma screens
AQUATEST a.s. has developed a module line for the recycling of LCD and plasma screens. This line uses a mechanical dry process which traps hazardous materials in fine particles and also volatile compounds on activated carbon filters which are then disposed of as hazardous waste.

The technology can also be used to recycle waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) e.g. microwave ovens, computers, printers, scanners, radios without previous manual disassembly and separation into individual products.
Recycling of CRT screens– screen disassembly machine
Screens are considered hazardous waste due to the layer of luminophore on the inner side of the screen. Therefore it is necessary prior to any further processing of the glass to safely remove the luminophore by separating the screen based on its chemical composition into cone and screen parts. AQUATEST a.s. has developed two types of screen separating equipment which work on the principle of:

Processing of glass screens and cones
The output of the screen separation is the glass from the cone and screen parts, from which it is necessary prior to any further processing to remove the graphite coating, the aluminum frame, the acrylate paint, the iron oxide and other organic impurities. AQUATEST a.s. has developed a technology for processing glass which works on the principle of dry mechanical abrasion (

After making several modifications to the technology for the treatment of glass screens i.e. adding a conveyor section and a section for the capture of mercury vapor it is possible to process light sources. In order to further utilize the glass from light sources (bulbs and several other products) it is first is necessary to remove the luminophore.
