Hydrogeological work

Hydrogeological work

Hydrogeological work is focused on flow measurements – hydrometric work on rivers and man-made canals, including monitoring the quality of surface water. Monitoring climatic data and groundwater levels is utilized for hydrogeological and hydrodynamic water flow modeling and hydrogeological and water management balancing and forecasting. Measurement of the volume of wastewater and performance of pump tests. Construction of hydrological and meteorological measurement stations. In addition to terrain work we perform evaluation of data and measurements, modeling surface water and groundwater flow for the protection of resources and optimization of water abstraction. Specification of natural groundwater resources, hydrogeological balance, rainfall-runoff ratios, specification of runoff and sediment transport in water courses.

Examples of successful projects

Monitoring of transboundary water (Czech Republic, Germany, Poland), Hydrogeological investigation of the impact of the Turów mine, České Švýcarsko National Park– hydrological monitoring at Kamenice and Křinice, DIAMO Stráž pod Ralskem – hydrological monitoring, hydrometric work on ZVHS measuring stations, evaluation of hydrogeological monitoring on a research catchment of Kopaninsky stream.
