Hydrogeological work
Hydrological work includes monitoring of surface and groundwater to provide data usable in particular in the field of water management and hydrogeology.
Hydrometric work in connection with surface water is aimed at monitoring the flow of streams and artificial channels, including wastewater (flow measurements using spillways, hydrometric wings and the method of ADCP). In addition to providing data, we also deal with the evaluation (determination of the specific curves for hydrological stations, determination of water balance and rainfall-runoff conditions, data acquisition for modeling the flow of surface water, determination of runoff and sediment transport, water flows) and the construction of hydrological and meteorological measurement equipment usable in particular in building flood situation warning systems. Groundwater hydrology is focused on the monitoring of groundwater levels in wells (including automatic continuous monitoring) and monitoring the water yields. The acquired data are evaluated and used in hydrogeology to determine the balance of groundwater, as well as input data for modeling of groundwater flow to determine natural resources, their protection and optimization of water supply and minor groundwater extractions.
We also provide consulting and training of the staff of partner organizations in development cooperation.
